A Question That Has Been Popping Up a Lot Lately

While I still have many juicy insights to share from our Keaper survey , today I want to address a question that's been popping up frequently from Keapers: "How can I help Keap succeed?"

It's a query that I feel privileged to receive. While I don’t expect our readers to do any of the below for us, I figured there may be a broader group interested in the answer.

Still a Bambino

Keap has been in business for almost 10 years, and while that is in itself something to celebrate, we remain in that financial limbo characteristic of young upstarts.

Simply put, we have chosen to take on all aspects of production and shipping in-house, something that is rare for candles. In the long run this allows us multiple benefits that mostly center on quality and sustainability.

But to sustain these operations, we require a certain scale. We don’t need to be huge—and we’re not far off where we need to be—but until we get there, a lot of our long-term plans will progress slower than we would like.

Helpful Steps

So here are the 6 biggest things you can do to help us introduce Keap to more noses.

  1. Leave us a review on  Google  and/or  Thingtesting , or share a review in an online community you are engaged with or that you turn to for reliable customer feedback, such as  these Reddit luxury candle discussions  if it feels authentic to you. These can have a remarkable impact.
  2. Gift Keap candles to friends who haven’t experienced them yet!
  3. Buy Keap candles as gifts for your clients, team, or vendors—or suggest it to the person in your company responsible for these. We offer attractive bulk gifting pricing and options. Email us for details!
  4. Participate in our upcoming  Giving Thanks challenge  (re-launching next month) and share your entry with the Keapers in your life.
  5. Do you have a friend who is influential in the candle world or writes for a well-known publication that would be interested in our story? Tell them about us.
  6. Do you have a favorite independent boutique that you would love to see selling our candles? Tell us about them, and even better, tell them about us!

This week, we have a number of exciting updates, so be sure to check those out below! I’ll return to the rest of your Keaper survey responses next week.

With gratitude,
— Harry from Keap, Steward-Owner

If you enjoyed this article, you might enjoy our not-quite-weekly free newsletter where we share our lessons on our journey toward our regenerative vision, product launches, and behind-the-scenes happenings.

We left social media in 2021 because we found its current mechanics didn’t align with our purpose to facilitate connection to the natural world, our loved ones, and our own spirits. Since then, our newsletter has become a vibrant place for healthy conversation around topics ranging from alternative business ownership models to happy hour cocktail recipes.
