“A trip to Sicily, a volcanic island off the Umbrian peninsula. In some areas the sand is black from lava rock. Lying in the sea hours go by, and it's only the setting sun that reminds me to go home.”
“In early fall I travel to Province Town, which lies at the end of Cape Cod. The Summer crowds are gone, but nature remains. The air is light, crisp and already anticipating the coming cold. There's always one last warm summer day though.”

Key Notes
Sea Salt: A savory note that adds intrigue to the marine notes, providing an unusual and arresting effect.
Galbanum: Bracing bitter green scent coming from the resin of a tall grass growing in warm climates.
Seaweed: Algae note with savory, marine, grassy aspects, that adds a pinch of real “ocean-ness”.
Star Anise: Somewhat bitter, adds some sharpness to help bring out the more subtle watery notes.
Calone: Delicate, light and airy marine note that feels somewhat like the watery part of watermelon or melon.
Cyclamen: Very light, watery, almost transparent note that brings lightness and freshness.
Candle Burning Tips
Following your first burn, each time you use your candle, trim the wick to 3⁄8” (about the width of your pinky finger) before you light it. This helps ensure a smaller, safer flame and less soot.
Each time you burn your candle, burn it for 2-3 hours. This will not only maximize the fragrance throw, but also help avoid "tunneling," where the candle burns down the middle, leaving wax around the edges.
For safety reasons:
▶ Don’t burn your candle when less than a 1/2” of wax remains.
▶ Never leave a burning candle unattended!

What's a gift-boxed candle?

A gift-boxed Keap candle comes with a beautiful black gift-box, and inside you'll find a candle (phew!), a coaster/dust cover, matchbox*, and an informational insert.
*Please note that matchboxes can only be included in Ground shipments. If you choose an expedited shipping option at checkout (Air or Priority), the matches will be excluded from your order.
Can I include a gift note?

Absolutely. In the cart there is a field to enter a personal gift note. We hand-write every gift note on a card and include it alongside your gift.
Can a gift receipt be included instead of the price?

We only include details about how to contact us, alongside any gift message you provide so no pricing information will be visible.

Expedited shipping options are available at checkout, and orders with upgraded shipping will be prioritized in our shipping queue. Because expedited shipments (Priority or Air) are transported by air, we will omit matches from any orders with expedited shipping to comply with regulations.

I'm a subscriber. Do I get free shipping on this order?

If you order 8 or more candles through our website, shipping is free! For smaller one-off orders, we do not offer free shipping.
However, subscribers do receive free shipping on all subscription orders (i.e. orders placed through the subscriber portal), so you can order Wood Cabin and Lavender + Petals through the portal year-round, and you can order this month's Seasonal Scent through the portal anytime before the change of the month.
