The Scent
Reminiscent of a hike in the mountains in the fall, and stopping at a wooden refuge for a break. Capturing the sights of waterfalls, dried leaves, wet stones, moss, and colorful trees.

Key Notes
Cade Juniper: Dry mediterranean wilderness, brings a “smoky” fireplace-like aspect.
Cedar Wood: Woody, dry, reminiscent of a pencil tip, fresh wood shavings, and slightly ambery.
Wet Moss: Brings some soft dampness, earthiness, and greenness to balance out some of the drier aspects of the fragrance.
Nutmeg: The South East Asian spice adds powdery and spicy aspects that help bring out some of the lower dark notes.
Guaiacwood: Coming from the Palo Santo tree, this exotic wood note has tar-like, phenolic facets, imparting an almost holy smokiness.
Burnt Pine: These little guys bring a fresh spiciness that gives an uplifting sensation, and a sense of “the great outdoors”.

Candle Burning Tips
Following your first burn, each time you use your candle, trim the wick to 3⁄8” (about the width of your pinky finger) before you light it. This helps ensure a smaller, safer flame and less soot.
Each time you burn your candle, burn it for 2-3 hours. This will not only maximize the fragrance throw, but also help avoid "tunneling," where the candle burns down the middle, leaving wax around the edges.
For safety reasons:
▶ Don’t burn your candle when less than a 1/2” of wax remains.
▶ Never leave a burning candle unattended!

What's a gift-boxed candle?

A gift-boxed Keap candle comes with a beautiful black gift-box, and inside you'll find a candle (phew!), a coaster/dust cover, matchbox*, and an informational insert.
*Please note that matchboxes can only be included in Ground shipments. If you choose an expedited shipping option at checkout (Air or Priority), the matches will be excluded from your order.
Can I include a gift note?

Absolutely. In the cart there is a field to enter a personal gift note. We hand-write every gift note on a card and include it alongside your gift.
Can a gift receipt be included instead of the price?
