We put together a quick and easy guide with steps you can follow to re-use any candle glass, and now we're sharing some fun things to do with your new collection of tumblers.
As a child (and extremely picky eater) nothing excited me more than having breakfast for dinner.
Thankfully my palate has improved over the years, although the picky eater gene has been passed on to my son. (I now feel my parents’ pain!) This month’s tumbler reuse was motivated by the need to avoid the dreaded “Do I have to eat that?” So, I decided to break from our routine and have french toast dinner.
Luckily, french toast is pretty versatile, you can top it with almost anything. To add a bit of color (and pretend this meal is somewhat well balanced), I decided to incorporate fresh berries. In order to make a french toast bar of sorts, I decided to place the toppings in individual Keap tumblers.
I love how the act of giving each topping its own container gives these individual ingredients a thoughtful and elevated feel.
To make this french toast bar I used:
- Brioche French Toast from Trader Joe’s (a viable option if you’re short on time! I recommend popping the pre-made slices in the oven for a more home-made taste)
- Maple Syrup
- Powdered sugar
- Strawberries
- Blueberries
- Whipped Cream
I love how the act of giving each topping its own container gives these individual ingredients a thoughtful and elevated feel.
What are some nostalgic foods from your childhood?
Yours,
Yasmine from Keap
