When it grows quiet, the clean musk of sage
soothes the arriving evening. The mesa casts its longing shadow
as the sun sinks between the juniper’s arcing trunks,
stops to hover above the warm blossoms of immortelle.

The horizon unspools endless in each direction, and you
feel the desert’s vastness, for a moment, in yourself.
The sky lights up with a fire all its own.

The Scent

The almost spiritual glow of dusk in the desert, orange light streaked with purple cloud and blazing above the mesas. Juniper trees twist up from the sandy ground alongside spicy sprays of immortelle. The creamy smoke of sandalwood mixes with the clarifying, earthy musk of sage.

Perfect for making any room feel as boundless as a desert sky.

The Memories

“The fire. The odor of burning juniper is the sweetest fragrance on the face of the earth, in my honest judgment; I doubt if all the smoking censers of Dante's paradise could equal it. One breath of juniper smoke, like the perfume of sagebrush after rain, evokes in magical catalysis, like certain music, the space and light and clarity and piercing strangeness of the American West. Long may it burn.”
— Edward Abbey, Desert Solitaire

“There’s more to the desert than hot sand and an unceasing sun. It’s an almost supernatural landscape, home to flora and fauna that exist nowhere else. When you’re out there at night, looking up at the moon overhead and the unbroken expanse of stars, you get a real sense of just how big the world really is.”

We Fell in Love

“Long story short, Keap is worth the price.”

Full Letter

Dear Keap,

A good friend of mine from work gave me a Wood Cabin Keap candle because she wanted me to try it. She told me all about the candle and the company. I have been striving to be as mindful as she is about reducing, recycling, and reusing and she gives me great advice. After lighting the candle at home, my boyfriend and I fell in love. We immediately started our own subscription.

We have tried two Keap candles with our subscription, our favorite Wood Cabin and Canyons. Both were amazing and I loved the booklet, matches and occasional extra tea light. We enjoyed them very much, but started wondering if we could find a candle similar, but a little cheaper.

After comparing with some of your competition, we decided that Keap was worth the extra money and even decided to up our subscription to one a month instead of every other month.

Long story short, Keap is worth the price. The scents are amazing and smell natural. (We cannot stand artificial scents) Thank you for working hard for not only your customers, but for the environment too.

Many blessings to you and your company,

— Ashleigh, Georgia
